Favourites reordering, D’n'D… [Lancelot]
Just a small update – Lancelot‘s library received a great improvement – support for dropping the items into the lists. Although this doesn’t seem much, since L’s widgets are all totally custom-made and generally speaking implemented from scratch, trust me, it is
The first improvement noticeable to the outside world, that is, to you beloved users is that the Favourites list can now be reordered by simple drag and drop. And that you can add items to the Favourites by drag and drop.
(just imagine a mouse cursor dragging the Kontact item…)
p.s. This has reminded me, I’ve really got to make a new Lancelot screencast soon…

Awesome! Been waiting for drag and drop for quite a while now!

I’m sure KSnapshot used to have an option to show the cursor, now it doesn’t seem to… curious.

nice… when will lancelot replace kickoff?

cool stuff, though I’m a bit disappointed it has nothing to do with integrating Dungeons and Dragons into Lancelot

@maninalift: I thought so too
@Andrew: Maybe sometime, maybe never
I don’t really care about that.
@maninlift: Dungeons and Dragons are already in. Just type !dungeon-master into the search bar and you’ll get options to:
1 – create a new dungeon
2a – invite friends to play
2b – summon friends to play from another plane
3 – open DnD books downloaded illegally from torrent.

Hi, just wondering which version of Lancelot has this feature.
I’m currently running Lancelot 1.7, on KDE 4.2.95, Kubuntu 9:04 (Jaunty).
Drag n drop is not working, unless there is a config option I’ve missed.
Love Lancelot btw, keep up the good work.

@Dave: It is the trunk – to be 4.4. (4.3 was frozen for features for quite some time now, so it wasn’t possible to add this to the 4.3 release)

Thanks for the response Ivan.
I shall be waiting, (impatiently I might add)
for 4.4 then.
Cheers.
